About the show:

In a derelict building, beneath a false floor, stands a music hall stage.  Under its boards lies a century old corpse.

Enter the local history group on quest to find 'whodunit.'

Stepping into a forgotten world, they uncover the brutal censorship, ruthless ambition and cut - throat competition lurking behind the curtain of songs, fabulous feats, saucy winks and innuendo. Struggling to solve the mystery the group seem to lose the plot.

Perhaps there is something someone may wish to conceal.

This production explores the impact of big corporations on the lives of ordinary people and the popularity of reality TV. A darkly comic farce, with singing, dancing and surprise.

Audience responses:

"Skilled performances, unique script, excellent use of a simple set. Enjoyed more than Coronation Street."
